Doncaster Rovers 1-3 Manchester City
Despite a spirited display by manager Sean O'Driscoll's Doncaster Rovers, Manchester City from the Premiership ran out 3-1 winners in this afternoon's pre-season friendly at the Keepmoat Stadium.
Rovers took lead after 16 minutes from a Sean McDaid goal from a low 10 yard shot powered into the City net to give Doncaster the advantage after 45 minutes.
The half time dressing room talk from City's new manager, the former England Coach, Sven Gorn-Eriksson had the desired effect, with goals from Benardo Corradi, Micah Richards and Emile Mpenza concluding the days events.
